The Complete Solar Installation Process 4: Installing Solar On Your Home

Here's the most exciting step in your renewable energy journey so far: it's solar panel installation day. Finally, you're getting some panels up there! We'll contact you to schedule the big day, ideally within a few days but possibly up to a week or more out depending on availability.

What to Expect on Installation Day

Our team of experienced solar professionals will arrive at your home bright and early on the scheduled day. Usually, this is a one-day event, starting first thing in the morning. The installation process typically takes all day, but may extend into several days depending on the scope.

The installation itself involves the following steps:

    • Mounting the racking system on your roof
    • Installing the solar panels onto the racking
    • Connecting the electrical wiring
    • Installing the inverter and other system components
    • Final safety checks and quality assurance

    How to Prepare

What do you need to do to ensure a smooth solar panel installation process?

    • Keep the area around your home clear of any obstructions that could disrupt where the work will take place
    • Keep pets or young children indoors during the installation process to ensure their safety
    • Be sure to let us know if you have any specific concerns about the work itself when we arrive and when we depart

Your dedicated Concierge will contact you after the installation to check in and make sure everything was conducted to your satisfaction.
